You just never lose your touch for amazingly detailed and fun scenes! As always your color choices always work so well to add a feeling of antiquity to them, and the lighting is just amazing! I like how there are different light sources in the image and each of them "feel" so real, because you've portrayed them as working in different ways. For example, the light from the television looks differently shining on its subjects than the light from the green lamp shade. Your little (and big) kitties are just so wonderfully fuzzy and their expressions are always so humorous! Everything always has so much character to it! I especially love the little portraits of the kitties on the walls, such a fun spin on the old shadow portraits! Your work is always so fun to get lost in!
Fantastic! The glow of the television and lamp light adds greatly to the fluffy quality of the cats (plural) fur. You can see it especially in the father, I presume, at his stomach and back. It increases the "fuzzy" quality of the fur. And the detail in the back is simply superb. The old fashion wallpaper reminds me a lot of old victorian houses, and the many slithouses in the back only add to the ideal. I especially like how you've added a little "old with new" flair in. While the two cats on the father's stomach play with toy guns and pretend to be cowboys (a flashback to the 50's, when such was the norm with little boys) and the kitten on the left hand rides on the toy horse (a flashback to the early 1900's and even before that) the little kitten on the right plays with his video game system (a pleasant reminder of the days when I was a little girl in the 90's)
An all around fantastic piece, and worthy of praise. I will be honest, I cannot see anything that I would say that you should touch up on, and all I can say is not to lose the original flair that you so obviously posses!
This picture is just so amazing! It's so detailed and the cats are adorable. It just gives this cozy, "at-home" feeling whenever I take a glance. These cats look so comfortable in this little living room <3
