Forgotten Castle

What a beautiful work of art, truly you have a great talent. When stumbling upon this piece I knew I'd like it especially since I had just returned from vacation at Walt Disney World and I've always been obsessed with everything that has to do with castles, royalty, etc.
Anyway, my high points from this piece would be:
1. The way you did the shadowing throughout the who piece not just the castle and town, it provides for amazing contrasts and it was the first thing that had sucked me into wanting to write a critique.
2. You added elements that makes this piece stand outside of the box such as the air balloon ships and the waterfalls.
3. You made the castle very intricate and the detail is superb.

I did have one low point which didn't really affect the way I thought about your piece of art which was the overall outcome and the theme you were trying to convey. By the title I pictured the landscape would look abandoned and "dull yet mysterious" as many ruins would appear.
Other than that I loved this piece so much and hopefully one day I'd be able to buy a print.
